The best way

We live, we laugh, we love and we long to be loved. We fail, we fall, we falter….and just sometimes, we succeed. We all make mistakes and forget to consider that as part of what we should do. What we do now may not be important in the years to come, but it is part of the journey. The memories we look back on is all just fractions of a time that use to be now. To use John Lennon’s words: “Life happens while we’re making other plans”. We plan for the future, we live for tomorrow, we work for better days, but what we forget is that life may pass us by and when tomorrow does come you’ve wasted so much time getting there that you might have nothing to show for your journey. So why not live life while planning it, why not embrace everyday as if it was the day you were planning for, why not make the journey worth while, because when you never get to tomorrow, when the future is not so perfect as what you hoped for, when better days don’t show up when you expected them to, the way you lived will be more than you could ever get from any destination.

About Die reis

So....I really believe that I’m not the only person feeling this way. Like Lucius Annaeus Seneca  put it: "If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable." And that's exactly my problem...I have no idea where I want to be. I’m content in the moment, but is constantly restless about the future. I have too much of a hunger for success and fulfillment to just leave it there, but never in my life have I had a clear picture of where I want to be. Therefore I want to make life about the journey. I want to appreciate life for what it is, and not let the small things pass me by without noticing them. For the "where do I want to be?"...maybe I will find out along the way.
